This event was launched by YB Dato Seri Chia Kwang Chye, Deputy Minister of Information, Malaysia, with the aim of inspiring the spirit of patriotisms among Malaysians. In conjunction with this event, some of the major activities held are the 'Patriotic Song Writing Competition' and in association with the local radio station an open air concert where famous Malaysian artistes were present to make the event a successful one. Considering the importance of feminine health awareness, over the years, NTPM has conducted more than 300 sessions of educational talks on feminine hygiene and health in both primary and secondary schools nationwide. Targeting at teenagers, these educational programs are specially designed with relevant contents on health and hygiene practices at puberty stage. |
